1Left1Right uses a Distributed Data Model, this is. A distributed data model is a way of organizing data so that it is stored across multiple platform locations but behaves as if it were a single, unified database. In this model each company has its own location, with it’s own data. This data is not stored anywhere else.

1Left1Right, autonomously, creates meta data based on your data and adds this to your location (see Meta Data).

You can get your data online or offline and/or deleted at any time. You have a kill switch – a built‑in mechanism that lets your company instantly disable access to your data – to prevent damage, misuse, or security breaches.

The key to connect the companies in the Supply Chain is based on the combination of Company Name and Company Item Number. You indicate for each item you buy, the Company Name and Company Item Number of the Supplier. Your Supplier confirms this relationship and that’s the basis for a link in the chain. Likewise your link to your customer is based on your Company Name and your Company Item Number.

You can configure the extend to which meta data is created, based on your data, and shared.

Based on the two-way confirmed linkage between your company and your partners in the Supply Chain, and, following your specific settings, (part of) your data is shared with other companies (see data sharing).

For each data element, the ‘last update date’ is available. Data is also stored with ‘from-to’ dates. So you can look back (E.g. What was the Purchasing Forecast per 31/12/25?), see the actual data (E.g. What are todays Emissions?), or look forward (E.g. What is the Purpose ambition of a Company per 31/12/28?).

For Companies within the Supply Chain, the gross fee is based on the revenue of the company. Based on your specific settings, additions and discounts apply.

For Partner Companies, the fee is on request.

Your data is stored in Europe on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

The 1Left1Right platform is able to support all up- and downstream profit information (e.g. Purchase Forecast, Stock). The specific information supported, will expand based on the use cases.
